i know dmg r bad cuz in big battles it makes u lose more but in the battle sim 10 range beats 10 dmg. does this mean it is a good idea to make all dmg in solo worlds cuz if u r trying to kill someone by urself, u wont outnumber their units by that much

It's never a good idea to build an army composed purely of one upgrade type. You've gotta have Armoured units that take the brunt of the hits for the hitters; the Ranged. And of course, there's an advantage in numbers, so make sure you have at least 30 more units than the other guy if you're attacking (if both of you have < 50 units). Damage is still bad in your scenario, because you can come up against a properly built squad of Amour and Ranged (or even Damage if the player cannot prooduce Ranged yet) and lose your army.

Damage units arent a bad choice if you plan to fight with your units for more than 3+ rounds. Even if you fight for more than 3-5 rounds and win.. you really have lost the battle because the main objective in going to a fight is to win without lossing a single units even though it sounds unrealistic... and if you must sacrifice some units , those units must be minimum. Imagine that you are not only going to fight one battle in all the round... hundreds and if you are really active thousands of battle. So do you plan to lose more? Adapt your strategy !
Cheers Unky
