Argument:
Lacrossminiman - I would like to make INF until tick 150 and then switch to heavies. The INF will contain a mix of Range, Damage and Armor so I am not spamming INF.
The reason is: Quote directly from MSN "infatry is good if it is ranged and even if it is damage(with enough armored in the squad) also a good perk about inf is if u kill the spam inf for mines, noobs, ops, etc. they dont hurt your score as opposed to heavies where u lose 3 and u almost have losta pwr from that. if u think that inf is just for noobs and such here is my response. Most people hate inf cause of 3 things. Low HP easy to kill and they can be spammed by noobs easy. her it is this is how i explaing: well, lets say u have to get defenses on an op fast... u dont want to sende ur heavies to ur op they are defenses... why not send idk... 4 5 inf to defend it with heavy losses but they dont effect u that hard.. think about it inf will be easy becasue of these 5 compnents. 1: scans show them as normal spam inf and the attack will be killed by ranged or even damage inf instead of spam. 2: they are easy to send with out regret... they let u not second guess ur attacks or your moving squads. 3: they are easy to take out mines with. 5 ranged anti veh inf take down a mine in one round. 4: they can be overlooked (ie in scans people just think oh spam inf ill worry about the heavies) and 5: no one makes anti inf in the later ticks so the exces inf u have can become vital to your success... that is all... hope u ahve seen my logic."

RankSS Opinion (NOT COUNTER ARGUMENT) - There is really nothing wrong with INF, INF can be very useful at times. Though the team already agreed on Heavy units as we gone through this via Chatzy already. Is team work not the case to success? Despite the fact that Heavies could be a burden to such none boosters, a team unity is very important. One thing I do not wish to see if one falling apart from another. As time progresses, gaps will be harder to fill in. 150 ticks is a huge gap of time in a 1 tick world. ALSO VERY IMPORTANT. I AM NOT HERE DEBATING ON CHANGING UNIT BUILD FROM HEAVIES TO INF. JUST A SIMPLE DEBATE ON WEATHER LETTING LACROSS BUILD INF FROM BEGINNING IS A GOOD THING OR BAD THING.

I'm not going to say YES or No here, but i will express my opinions here:
1) 150 ticks is a lot of time.
2) I think we should build infantry if we dont have Heavies yet so we can spam
resource outposts and others. NOTE: Limited Infantry.
3) I mostly agree with rankss.

Anyways, i say let Lacrosse build Infantry but only Limited number of them.
Let's say 50-60 Inf.

Note: Number changeable.

I think that he should NOT be able to build inf!!
My reason: we can use tanks just as well as inf for taking ops.
( we should have alot of tanks )
Also inf will be a waste of resources because they will become useless overhead in the later rounds. Also what makes you think that top alliances stop building anti inf?
