I read all the mangas...
This is really a choice of perference, if you like reading or if you like watching...
And there can be many many differences between the two as well storyline wise.

I agree with red that manga's are truthfully better than animes in terms of the read and how the story's form. Plus books aren't held to lame censorships ;)

Nintendo aimed the Animé at kids.
But not the manga. So its logical =P
