I meant job as in "xp professor". I don't meant any insults or bad intention towards Milanos. I apologize if anyone think of it that way.

So, how about some tips on how to get them XP quickly? Like, do they get XP even if they don't fight anyone, like if they take over an unguarded OP?

Copied right from the wiki...

Quote:
Number Of Enemy Units Killed * Number Of Rounds * 10 / Number Of Surviving Winning Soldiers, Rounded up.

What does this equation mean? Use this example:

You have battle lasting one round where you have 10 soldiers and the enemy has 10 soldiers. Say he kills 5 of your soldiers. Your remaining soldiers will receive 100 XP. This means 100 XP / 5 remaining soldiers = 20 XP for each soldier.

So no, you wouldn't get any XP if you don't fight anyone.

Err.. I think that formula is wrong as well, Dawnice. From my experience the correct formula would be :

Number of enemy soldiers killed * 10 + Enemy units killed exp *0,05.

I've just taken a look at several BRs

------------
No loss
Killed 100 soldiers
Enemies' xp: 10
1 Round
Gained 1010
-------------
Lost 4 soldiers
Killed 9 soldiers
Enemies' xp: 0
1 Round
Gained 90
-------------
Lost 102 soldiers
Killed 356 soldiers
Enemies' xp: 20
2 Round
Gained 3570 xp
========
I can say it's
Soldier Killed x 10 + Enemies' xp / Round

Okay, so lemme see if I can do teh maths right.

I decide to get absolutely hammered one night and come back and attack some guy.

I send 30 infantry to combat this guy's 30 infantry. Since I'm drunk, I didn't plan well enough and lose 20 guys after winning the battle. The guy I attacked doesn't have any XP. The battle lasts 3 rounds.

So, I killed 30 enemy units. 30 x 10 = 300.
The enemy had 0 XP. 300 + 0 = 300.
The battle lasted 3 rounds. 300 / 3 = 100.
I have 10 infantry remaining. 100 / 10 = 10. (I am assuming the total XP is distributed equally amongst remaining units?)

Now, I'll tie in other stuff I learned from you guys. :) ...

Since it takes 30 XP for a unit to gain a level, I will have 10 units which are about 33% progressed towards the next level?

no, u killed 30 enemy units: 30 x 10 = 300
enemy has no xp and the battle lasted 3 rounds: 0/3 = 0

Total xp u received = 300 + 0 = 300 xp

I don't know how xp are distributed among the units, but let's assume it's equally, each of ur units will receive 30 xp, enough to be a lvl 1 right now.

And only inf needs 30 xp, veh needs 50 and tank needs 70 for each lvl.

I didn't put the formula there. Perhaps it's changed now. =P

I'll confirm and update when I get the time. :D

OHHHH so your enemy's XP is divided by the amount of rounds. I completely read that wrong. Okay, I got it now.

Well, overall, I'd say this was an extremely positive learning experience for me. I used to just build up an army and not piss off anyone around me but by doing that, I was missing out on the XP gain.

Next time a 1 tick world starts, I'm going to be aggressive. Not overly aggressive... but just enough.
