how hard is it to attack one of the metal mine or oil field from the admin?

Its not hard to attack it,as far as i remember there are no units inside.
I am not sure of this.But even if there are units inside,there shouldnt be many at all :)

i would advice you to scan it first, build UAV Control, then klick the op, the scan icon then choose military scan costing 10 energy then scan result come up in events ;)
