Just as it is posted. Diamond Shell needs a lot of changes. I did so many test on it, that it makes no sense of using Diamond Shell.

It either needs More tech points, resistance, or cooling/regeneration. Or, needs some changes in all three of those as mention.

I keep on testing with it that it just looses too much of the time. It rarely wins.

What's the point of giving it a name "Diamond Shell," when it should be hard to defeat.

The best way to use it is make one melt mech, like 2 lava spray and hammer, 3 plates of 90, full torso (lvl 16), resistance module 10 r 11, 2 heat modules and 1 heat card, the legs and drone... the best you have....

or, the physical version, rockets, novas, axe or hammer, must be in super-highxhigh damage to be hard as a diamond...

That torso must stun the enemy or kill very fast...

The worst config for me, its energy... tiny weak to keep you alive, more now with lot of non-energy weapons.

Diamond Shell is really not worth it anymore. The main strength of Diamond Shell was its synergy with kits (More resistance = The more turns +132/+144 HP can last). Now that repair kits are no longer a thing, it's really not that good anymore.

Oh, and don't even get me started on those Resistance to Zero pads...

I was playing with it on my brother's account (I was grinding for him) and it's the only mythical torso he has. So naturally I tell him to play it. However it's just flat out bad. Auto loss to resistance pads, health is way too low, OR resistance is too low. One can argue both are really. it needs 200 - 250 health if it's gonna only have 20 resistance. Battles are very fast now, 20 resistance is nothing, and every heat/physical mech you face will drain that pathetic resistance. Diamond shell is the worst torso hands down. Galaxus model A might be a better alternative.
This item may need to be completely redone. Better stats wouldn't hurt.
I don't mind helping in redesigning (because I want it to be done right, and the devs can't seem to do that). I can crunch some numbers and tell you an adequate amount of resistance and health (and even stats may be moved around). Of course I wont waste my time if it wont be implemented.

I met an opponent who used the diamond shell with no hp modules or armor modules. It had 220 hp I think? I killed them in 1 turn using Backstabber mk 2 and death Punch mk 2. It was kinda sad. Not much of a powerhouse. Then again I think Metrolens has it far more worse then diamond shell....

It has 120 health and 20 resistance. But yea even with 400 health or 500 they dont last very long.

I think Diamond Shell needs like 180 hp. It's honestly not even close to being as bad as Metrolens though. #BuffMetrolens2017

Maybe get the resistance of Diamond Shell to 24 and have 200 hp.
Even increasing the heat/energy capacity to 125?

The Diamond Shell is good as this, does not need anything anymore and having 20 resistance of any kind is more than good ^^
