Woah, a "dream house" for $1.5m is for nearly everyone, even people who are quite well off, a completely unrealistic investment.

Even $650k for a home is far from "cheap," and would probably take several decades for most people to pay off the mortgage, if they could at all.

As for whether you should pay less than half price for a house because a murder was committed there, absolutely! The chances of another murder being committed in the same place are no greater because one was committed in the past, and if you're worried about ghosts, you should either stop watching horror movies or invest some of that 800 grand you saved in some state-of-the-art paranormal detection equipment.

Speaking of horror movies, I just saw "It Follows" pretty decent throwback horror with some jump scares but mainly excellent creepy atmosphere complimented by a great score.

"The Babadook" is another good recent one and a personal favorite is "Triangle," especially if you're into being mindf***ed (excuse my language.)

I personally don't agree with luxuary housing of any kind in an age where there are roughly 100 million people homeless whilest The Crown Estate own 358,000 acres of land and many more estates like them such as The Duke of Buccleuch & Queensberry also take a great deal more than there fair share of land. and in a society in which the conservative party which claims to be "for the working people of Braitain" sells off social housing estates such as New Era Estates to foreign investors and development firms such as the Westbrook Partners put down by Forbes Magasine as a wealth of roughly £11 bn to build more luxuary condos for the mega wealthy bankers who our tax payers bail out time and time again.

Welp, that was unexpected. (this topic having 2 pages) Well, I think I've misinterpreted about saying dream home... It's not exactly like it.. But according to the show (Brain Games) it says modern houses usually costs at 1. 5 million dollars.. But they were doing some experiment of how people would react with the deal..
