It must also make sense. A player that you went a different way from can not suddenly magically appear near you. So if you wish to kill next poster it will only work if it makes sense with what you posted.

But more detail obviously. This is where teams matter. You will effectively trying to make it 10 rounds before the other team. You can chose to spend these points or save all of them for tokens when the game is over. Whatever you chose, be careful, what goes around...comes around.


To those of you who did not post, do not fear, you may still enter the following rounds right where we are. But remember FIRST to 10 rounds wins.

"The artillery fire continues, anyone caught outside for too long will be in for a world of hurt. The tank continues along the road, until reaching a crossing, and then shifts in the direction toward the bell tower now moving up the main street. Soldiers begin checking houses that the tank passes."

I silently curse. I was an idiot, leaving my team behind. It was my fault i was in this predicament. From what i could see, my best hope was to run behind the tank. It moves pretty slow, and the chance of its main gun hitting me is extremely low. The two soldiers in the house look well-equipped, but i can never be sure. I need to choose, and fast. I do the simple option. I run beside the tank, and behind it. I than run into a small alley way, which is dark and musy. I see a small hole in the wall of a broken down building, and slowly crawl into it. Im exhausted. Mentally and physically, but i keep thinking of what to do next.
Spoiler:
As you fled from the main street, into the "broken down building" you attract the attention of one of the soldiers near by, he follows you hoping to catch you off guard. He presses his back against the gaping hole in the wall, and loads his rifle. Surely if he fires it will give away your position! Your alive for now, but what will you do next? (+20 SXP)

My heart races, I check myself for any bullet wounds...none. I whiff a sigh in relief. Then my brain focuses back on to reality. I quickly shuffle, keeping my head low and my back against the wall to grab the gun of the man I have just killed. I secure the weapon to my back, then draw and ready my own.

What to do next? Then the objective comes back into my mind. I quickly get my bearings and listen around me. The tank is headed for the Bell Tower, as well it seems most of the men are there. Luckily, I had headed in different and less direct route to the Town Hall, which doesn't land me on Main Street, towards the Bell Tower.

I look out and see the field out in the open. I shouldn't go out there, it'd be suicide. I think of hijacking the officer's uniform. Not enough time... I go towards the way I came in here. Carefully, I peer out in both directions. Then make a dash for it to the alley way next to the house, on my indirect route to the Town Hall...

You run outside quickly managing not to get spotted, as you make your way into the alley, you can see a member of your squadron opening what appears to be a hatch/door in the ground, out in the open field. Your tense....you can hear the sound of soldiers raiding the house you just left. You can either join your comrade , or press forward into the next set of buildings up ahead. Either way, for now your are alive. (+20 SXP)

My breath comes in short and shallow gulps. I look around, my ten remaining squad members looking up to me as if I had the every answer in this dammed world. I think of my wife, Elrica, back at home. I know I must do this, if not for my team, for her.

I slowly pick myself up, my body bloodied and slightly shellshocked from the constant barrage of artillery fire. I start slapping my hand against my ear, trying to beat out the reminants of the ringing that I know will last forever.

I hear a vibration ourside, and various mens voices. *CENSORED!* I think, as I know what will happen if I are caught. I gather around the furthest room from the entrance to the house, finding a hobnob and eating it. By the sounds of things only 3 men are coming to check the house.

Positioning myself around the door, I prepare my gun. I think of poor Max, behind the tank. I will help him. I vow it. The hostiles, whom I am sure are coming into this tiny kitchen for food, will be suprised. As soon as they come through the door I will take 3 quick shots and kill them. I have the element of suprise. I can do this

I get down on my knees and pray. Please, for the love of god, let me pull through this. For Elrica, and my 2 kids, Greenbay and Vru. Please Lord. Please.

As you predicted 3 soldiers stroll in wanting to satisfy their hunger, you quickly take down the man at point, with a display of skill. The 2nd, using his fallen comrade as a shield, makes his way into the side hallway. The 3rd, attempts to pull his handgun , but you nail him with a shot as well. Finally you swing around to take on the last, but he's nearly on top of you, with his knife drawn. The soldier knocks your gun from your hands, as you grip his knife and the struggle begins. He sweeps your legs out from under you, and you fall helplessly to the ground. The soldier jabs the knife toward your chest, but with every last ounce of strength you reverse the knife into his neck. Down the enemy goes. After catching your breath, you return to your weapon, which is now damage, and will no longer work properly. You survive....for now. (+25 SXP) (0 shots remain)


Word of warning, dont create enemies :)

I take a moment to carefully decide what to do. I repeat in my head "take take the shot or let him deal with it." I decide to let him deal with it, I don't want to risk taking him out and the enemy noticing something funny/ seeing where the shot came from. They are scanning the field in front of him and enemies are moving in behind him, I figure they will catch him, but I could be wrong. My weapon is not silenced so I don't take the shot. I sit hoping the enemy notices him and takes him out. I see the field in front of me, the two enemy soldiers standing there, the dead body on the ground. I don't know what to do. I crawl out of the window and look up. The sniper still isn't in the bell tower. This makes me a bit more confident.

I hear the tank getting closer and closer and I hear doors being bashed open and slammed closed. I suspect they are moving my direction and checking the buildings as the tank rolls along. I say to myself "I need to survive and I'm not giving up now." While the enemies are scanning the opposite side of the fields, I try to find the thickest tree I could see. Then, I spotted it. Not a tree, but what seemed like a hole.

I wave to my team to stay where they are and go scout ahead myself hoping that my team has my back. I get to the hole and I scan the field again. The enemies are still ways away from me, so I look down. Standing over the hole. It seemed the hole had a little hatch to it. Curious as I am, I open the hatch to find a ladder leading (not far) down into what looked to be a bunker. Ultimately, I had no idea what it was. I waved to my team to come help me as I was tired and exhausted. The tank got closer and closer, I could almost smell the gas, and the enemies scanning the fields looked like they were coming back to the area. In order to survive I had to go into the hole/bunker. I scanned around, it looked like no one to be found in the intense darkness. My team and I went back to back. Guns held out and ready. I think to myself "I must survive no matter what"

You enter the small dark narrow passage, but quickly realize it is not nearly big enough to hold more than one person. You continue onward alone in the darkness hoping that no one is there with you. Suddenly the space becomes bigger, and your able to breath more fluently again. A small door way is in front of you, which leads into a building. As you carefully open the door, you realize you have flanked the enemy. You have survived, but now its time to act..or is it?(+20SXP)

I barely scramble below a window before I hear gunshots, this time at me. I try to calm myself, and even though I keep panting, I can hear two automatic weapons shooting at me. Two soldiers I count, as I ready my carbine. However, I know that, in a shootout, they'd rip me apart before I can even shoot one down. I try thinking, but to no avail: I see no way out of this, as I take a rock and toss it around. Suddenly, the idea hits me: I take another rock, and yell out: "I'm pinned down! Over here!". Then, I change my voice, and again yell out: "I'm here: cover your ears, grenade!" and while I say the last words, I toss the rock backwards, out the window. I remembered how the bar looked like: if they were taking cover, they would not see it was a rock rather than a grenade, and scramble out of it. The tank was coming, soldiers sure to follow, and I noticed a one-way room I could hide into once I took care of the two pursuing me, so once I threw the rock, I swiftly turned to my persecutors, and shot them as quickly as I could.

Spoiler:
As you throw the rock it bounces just as you predicted in to the bar, but out of view from the soldiers. One soldier panics and runs out wildly, as you press a metal round through his back. The other however, flees in a different, unknown direction. Unable to see where he has gone, you retreat into a one-way room. You're corner...no way out, except the way you came, unless you fancy window jumping today? For now you have survived. (+25 SXP) (5 Shots left)

As I shoot, I relise that I am terrible outnumbered. They are smart and they dodge the rock and pull out their guns. I realise that I must do something. And fast. I quickly look around, but nothing I can see would help me. Moments later, I fall to the ground, hurt but not dead. The last thing I see is a white flash. Then nothing.

When I wake up, which seems like an eternity, with one of my team-mates beside me. They start talking but I cannot understand as I am still in shock after what has just happened. All I fell is a sigh of relief as I have survived.

Gunfire fills the air as we realise that we must move and think of a new way to approach this situation.

You lay on the ground as your imaginary friend "jasper" sings you muffled and inaudible tunes...your clearly going insane you hear a loud whistling sound....must be the wind...wait..wait nope your not insane, you happen to see the artillery shell, moments before it rips your body to shreds. Jasper has nothing to sing about anymore. Thanks for playing!
