Is making a nuke worth it, come on realy. Ok I get it if you are a sub and sitting around for a chance to fire it, but is a Nuke something an active member realy wants? How much energy does it take to fire one?

Good question bro. ;)

Well yes nukes are worth it (my personal opinion). They are very useful during war, they kill 10% units on an op/colony. Very effective against large amounts of units. Like if I had 500 units and you nuked me, I would be left with 450 because 10% of 500 is 50. Not to mention it damages all units down to 1HP ;)

Just dont let an enemy take it  then it gets messy.

Oh btw. 25 energy to fire it.

just as goldenpaw said, they also kill 10% of ur worker (if it hits ur colony) so make sure not to get any nuke hit it.

Nukes are useful when used right, if you have like 20 of them its really awesome because you can just launch one or two where they run too.

I think they are but not that useful against a active alliance, so ugh I guess just use it right and its worth it? Its one of those "Its worth it sometimes" kinda things.

also consider that there will be low energy reserves in a war due to scanning/jamming anyway...

Depends, firing a nuke at an empty camp is pointless but firing a nuke and 10 squads at an OP containing 20 squads who can't move because their owner is offline is very smart ;)

Anyways, in answer to your prev. question: Nukes cost 25 E to fire.

More info on nukes can be found HERE
