Here is a fun question.

With Experience playing hardcore with the order things die by changing there HP is it really worth gaining experience on your units? Also how do you even go about running simulations this way?

I mean if you go into a battle and you have 5 brand new squads of say concussive because you are fighting an infantry army but currently all your units are 1 rank up. Those Concussive die first while in a group of no experienced units those concussive die last.

2)U cannot run a scan with exp factored in. I just always do it as a regular BR n if we lose i dont send

xp only increases dmg at lvl 3 or 4 and its pretty hard to get a lot of ur units that high so i think its not worth getting xp if ur fighting inf armies

I recently had a post about this so i'll just copy and paste my comment about it. The only context you need is that a guy before me said gaining experience was a losing battle because he had a squad at 390 and they died. My reply: Yeah I thought that it was a losing battle too, but then its about mid game in the solo mars world (around tick 2500) and I have some 450 plus experienced range tanks because I've used my army so much that practically all of my 30ish ranged squads have at least one level of experience. My armored experience tanks keep dying off, but these ranged experienced tanks are starting to become really useful since they have a damage bonus. Hence, I think its fair to say that seeking experience wouldn't be a bad thing to do as long as you don't lose too many units in the process. Armor noobs are great for this :D

Exp. can be the difference between winning a battle and losing one (later in the game). However if should never be sought after at the expense of a single unit.

The new experience system makes gaining it easier, but the costs to gain a rank are very high. and will take a very very long time. The best way I can explain exp is the "icing on the cake" of a win. It shouldn't be the reason for a fight or, a cause for you to make the battle closer than you have to. In order for one squad to equal the damage and HP hit to your army by losing one squad of exactly like it, would take hundreds of exp.

But it makes a good reason to build Heavy/Tank/Mech units early on. Since they die less they have a better chance of keeping the exp they've earned and over time can reach a point where they are considerably better than "new" units.

Question #2

The battle simulator does not factor in Exp. so yes a battle with units that have gained a rank can end a bit differently. However. Exp is the last factor in determining "damage order" so the overall outcome of the battle probably won't change much (Unless you have Uber-exp units) Just which exact units of a particular build die first. Or you may kill off an enemy a few shots faster an have a extra survivor or two.
