we hit 3rd place and will reclaim it .

we had a bad starting spot smack bang inbetween ECHO and BFPT . we are moving out of the cross fire .

upon relocating some noobs alliance MoVo decided to attack us . it payed off for them for alll about ummm 3 ticks ? lol .

we retalilated but lost some score so we dropped down a few ranks but we will be back

Bfpt will win

Well now that the last Relics have been released and conquered it seems like the battle to win the round is between BFPT (5 relics) of the North and BAN (4 relics) of the south divided by the buffer alliances of RCON, ECHO, and RDP.

If I were to predict a victor I'd put my money on BFPT mainly because they seem more diplomatically savy this round. In other words, BFPT are more likely to negotiate/ally with the middle buffer alliances than BAN giving them a strategic advantage which could determine the victor of a Relic war. (This is based on my alliances RDPG's dealings with BAN and BFPT where dealings with BAN have been filled with misunderstandings that lead to confrontations/bullying, on us, while BFPT has maintained and stayed true to a mutual NAP.) Additionally, BFPT island is much more difficult to assault geographically, imho, making their hive much more secure.

Just like the history of the Cold War BFPT and BAN are the two undisputed relic super powers, but the battles and the shifting tides of war will be found in the third world (non-Relic super power) middle alliances. These middle alliances are neither small nor weak and any attack from the super powers against each other will have to go through them one way or another. The alliance that can get the middle buffer alliances to fight for them and not against them will win the round.

Simply put, the side that tries to force their way through will have to expend massive resources doing so and will most likely lose the war whether they win the battle against the middle alliances or not.

I just voted for ECHO because they're my heroes.

Speaking of BFPT we don't got many allies we just got a lot of red patches.. Some blue conquered patches.. and an ugly yellow spread throughout the blues and reds. I give BAN props first day, after calling us cocky for their broadcasts towards us (lol @ the irony) unprovoked they did kill off 80 of our squads due to players asleep and leaving army out in danger.

Seeing the set up they use which is about 60%/20%/10% I'm not too worried seeing as we've got over 400 squads to their ever shrinking 250 squads which we just knocked off another 50 with say a 10 squad loss.(estimated) I do give them props for the first day it was rather amusing watching Next Generation lose that much for a "power" nap :p

This concludes day 2 however and we've got them heading back 7 eta There will be more to this colossal war I guarantee the server that, stay tuned. :)

Yes, with the surprising fall of ECHO there is now a wide open corridor for BFPT and BAN to have the ultimate showdown for the winner of this round of Mars 3.

Watching the fight so far my money still on BFPT winning cause they got most of ECHO's crystals that weren't destroyed by the banned players, gaining a huge resource advantage (+200 crystals last time I checked). Ensuring that any war of attrition is in BFPT's favor. Still, surprises do happen, (like the mass ECHO Banning). Maybe someone will win the lotto and make up the resource deficiency, or maybe catch someone napping again subsisting on coffee, energy drinks, and other sources of caffeine. Or maybe they'll do something crazy and take the eye off the prize and try fighting other alliances, wasting time and resources.

Mainly, I'm just sad at the way ECHO has fallen. They got completely eaten by swarms of locusts on all fronts in less than a day. The fact that their cities are unbanned makes the situation all the more tragic.

I think it would be the most epic come back if ECHO coming from behind, somehow recovers and beats everyone, grabbing all 10 relics. That would be Hall of Fame worthy IMHO with or without boosting.

so as you can see bfpt isnt even 200 power over BAN , judging by territories ... BFPT has about double if not tripple the conquers of BAN .. so i doubt u have a squad advantage over ban

BAN power comes from their Inf..so yes, we have "a squad advantage over BAN"
