According to the ToS, the admins do have liberty to do what they want. Enough vague wording is in there. So I guess you have what you wanted.

:)

You know what? Now I'm getting ticked because I'm being robbed of a clear win. I spent a couple dollars myself and at the end of the day, the win will be tainted. Everyone will say, well, if JD wasn't banned it would have turned out differently. At the moment I'm annoyed and I'm losing interest fast. I frankly don't care if his action was legal or illegal, white, gray or black, the ban is costing me. Give me back my tokens, I'll move to another server when I'm ready to play again and try again.

Don't worry Allyn. The win is not tainted. Cosmin even said so himself.

Your win is not tainted Gift.

What is tainted is the already pathetic reputation of admins in BD. As you all can see, Seth wasn't even capable of a reply to my arguments. He is completely wrong, clueless and without excuse. Put up one of the most pathetic performances in a single era in BD ever. In football he would be relegated to junior league.

I am done with this...my only counterpart for arguments is Kevin. That says it all about the quality of BD staff.

Good bye to everyone....respect for the good players who still put up with this nonsense. You guys must have patience of steel. My patience with mediocrity is over.

I will admit you have me questioning my own decision. When I sit and try to map it out with unbiased logic to myself, it makes sense, and I still think I did what was right when it comes to advocating fair and balanced play. Obviously there are many whom are stacked against me on that, and I regret that most of all. It was never my intention to ruin anything for anyone. I have obviously ruined alot for alot of people now, and I am at a loss to realize if I can every repair that, or if I am just gonna be chest thumped by someone else in the process because they see what I am doing there as unfair somehow. Who knows?

Anyway. If there is some olive branch I can extend now to try and make it right, I guess, if you feel the need, you can let me know. Otherwise I do not know what else to say except that this will surely influence my decision making process from this point onward. We live, we learn.

Ultimately, I am sorry all of this resonated so negatively with so many of you.

Thank you to everyone whom posted here. It is with your voice as a community member that you make your presence known. For the majority of this conversation, You all handled yourself very well and did not let things get 'too far' out of hand.

In light of how all of this came to pass, I am going to try to make the way that rules, and the way we enforce rules around here both

a.) more democratic in terms of how it is decided that we should handle rule violation and enforcement.

I really think that is where both of us are going wrong and the communication breakdown occurs. We both think we are more right than the other, but we are both taking a selfish approach because we are pretty much taking our stances against eachother without first getting the facts as far as what the community really thinks. I promise to do my best to get more factual data on such things and post it openly and conspicuously...somewhere around here. The gears are still turning, so bear with me, I think its gonna take a little bit of time to get it done the way I want. Like Mike said, everyone is kinda out right now, so when they get back, Ill be able to dig into the task then. I want to get surveys on several opinions on admin decision in the most organized and well thought out ways possible. Basically meaning, I want to think of as many of the common decisions an admin has to make as possible without firing off too many at once...moving on...

b.)Posted more clearly both in the terms and conditions and in the forum & BD wiki.

Hopefully, in the long run, it will make any bad impact this had on you guys, worth it for the betterment of the game and community here.

Anyway. I am agreeing to disagree for now until we can get more input from the rest of the players in the game. I am also going to try an extend an Olive branch. If there is a way I can make it right with you guys on an individual basis, simply PM me. Maybe too little too late for some of you. Hopefully Ill be able to change a few things for the better if you ever get the bug to come back.

I cant keep coming back here and arguing point for point anymore. Ive been doing it since 9 am and its 10 pm now. Yall wore me out on it. I have to leave it be now so I can carry on with my other tasks.

Be well.

My only contention with that is public opinion. That can easily get out of hand. Do you remember the nuke poll that Andrew put up? 50% of the people voting for Option 2 didn't even read what they were voting on.

Right. Obviously, it would have to be well thought out and presented. Im not really thinking a poll is the best way, mostly for that reason. I think we built a survey client once upon a time, and if it is lying around, Ill see what it is capable of.

Like I said, gears still turning. Ill do my best to see it through. Hopefully I can recruit a couple devs pretty soon!

I'm glad Allen is done posting here, as he did nothing but repeat points I already refuted.

I was done posting because the thread wasn't about what you or I thought about what was done, but was directed toward calling out an admin action. I just didn't wanna digress so much, when I knew I was right. So no point repeating my stance, and refuting you. Good luck.

I'm glad I was at work all day yesterday and didn't have time to get on the forums. This looks like it would have hurt my brain...
