and as for my retirement, let me rephrase the "i honestly don't care" part of the thread.

by idc, i mean idc beyond my alliance. When i left DKS at the beginning of the BC vs RoL war, i left them with the following instructions.

1. help BC, they will need the assistance. (which i see they failed to do)
2. trust BT, they are our greatest allies. which i honestly don't even know if they ever contacted BT while i was away if that tells how little i care for BD at this point.

Then, a few days in, i got a message, from several different members saying "if you don't come back, DKS is going to fall apart" and i can't watch as my friends go at one another, for control of an group of colonies, in a game.

Call it a weakness, but i can't just let them implode.

And as for those who would argue how letting BT and UF die like i am, i have this to say.

I basically gave BT them their finish last era. i fought for them, i gave them our relic, and just enough score to finish top 3.

is it so evil, that i ask to finish top 3 in my final era ever?

If you were asking the same parties it would mean something, but RoL did not participate on E3 until now.

If you wanted a top finish it should have been settled with BT and coalition, etc.

What's worse is when your said allies take a strong hit to them and the first thing you do is ask the enemy for the whole era to create some sort of deal for you to get rank 3 alliance, in it's entirety if you're going to quit, you might as well go out with a BANG and forget ranks, and your members should have the heart to follow through with you.

You may have a weakness for not letting allies go at each other, but your weakness is also your teams only strength.

It's time Robin learns how to utilize his army.

the only cost, is the oil to send however many ships u think u need to guard it.

as i said before, i just want the era to end the fastest way possible, and surrendering is the fastest way.

and i am asking the same party. i'm asking BT, who are the ones i (as some would say) abandoned. as well as UF.

and as i stated before, i don't care what rank we finish. i just want the fastest finish. What use are tokens if i won't be here to use them? I learned all that i know from LIS/DIP and as we stated before, DIP never won. not even a top 3 finish before, because they always went out with a bang. So doing so, would be nothing new to me. its just i don't want to stick around any longer then i have to.

Nothing is binding you on these chains, you can go free and leave and never come back, or you can stay here talking about leaving and never coming back.

You never had to stick and watch until the end of the round or whenever, as such as the many BC colonies that have already deleted due to inactivity.

well, i did have something long written up in response, but i hit some key and reloaded the screen, so i lost all the text...

But, short and simple version, i could have left. but then my closest BD friends would have killed each other in open warfare for control of DKS. not something i'm going to let happen.

i stayed originally, to just add my advise to DKS, however it seemed they needed me to much.

Sometimes it's better to let go or they'll never learn.

Jett, i was wondering do all your members agree with your decision? or is it only you, that want to be rank 3 and want to retire as fast as possible?
Or do maybe some other members still want to continue?

Cause as far as i know you wont be rank 3 in the end of this era.
I think thats gonna be a fact.

Aswell you are typing here alot of posts about your reason of why you retire, not joining the war etc. with the argument that you just dont care and want to end this era asap.
but if you just dont care, why do you want to keep trying to clear your name on this topic? Like we need to understand or agree with you on this decision your making.

If you put the time your using from this topic into bd, then DKS would be in the middle of the war already, fighting.

first off, this is on topic. we were apart of the AA vs RoL war.

And as for all my members agreeing with the decision, i have 2 who disagree, and the other 11 agree. so i'd say majority rules, which is for the most part, how i run my alliance.

As for my clearing my name, if you know me at all, you know my entire personality is based around others view of me. its a flaw, and i hate it, but its just how i am.

as for my time in this topic, i don't think 5 minutes, every 3 hours is enough to fight RoL, who are on or are within easy enough reach, every hour.

Not to mention, one person alone cannot change the war effort, all of DKS would have to be active, and thats just not how DKS is.

I agree with Voelender: how things look now, DKS isn't gonna make the top3.

ZzzZ is only 1k score back now, and they don't even have a relic.
