What's the deal with mines and oil wells? I'm assuming some kind of bonus upon capture, but what are the exact details?

Metal mines give +5 metal each tick to all in the alliance, Oil wells give +5 oil each tick to all in the alliance. They also give a worker bonus, but i can't remember the exact number.
