Their point was that Andrew had 5.5 days to get rid of the "mistake" relics, and only acted when they got attacked. Far more resources go into planning to take the relic than actually were spent in the final attack. Silos being build prematurely, extra squads rushed, gated in place, forgoing other targets to save units for the relics... etc.

It's not even about the resources, it's taking 5.5 days to find a mistake of this magnitude and fixing it only after people made plans on how to live with it.

Yeah. Bubbles has to be the geekiest 'looking' character ever.
