I am trying to play Battle Dawn in Ubuntu Linux 9.10 I have the latest version of flash installed and have tried 3 different browsers (firefox, chrome, opera)

The whole interface is messed up, I can't really see any buttons, and half of the links/images are just not there. All of the backgrounds are there, and the map.

Is there something special I have to do to make it playable in linux?

yeah, just use an older version of flash
10.1 and Linux do not like BD

Its not linux's fault that bd does not work in it. Its the fact that adobe screwed up the flash 10 for linux. Flash 9 works fine but no sound for some reason... ?? Dunno because it worked fine before I upgraded to 10... oh well I can play the game so that is all that matters.
