I last played in summer of 2013, I was high rank and knew the game very well. Has anything changed recently that I should know about? I am particularly interested in if there has been a change in the bonus % dmg and other things I should be aware of. Thank you in advance.

Nothing has changed game play mechanics wise I believe.
The only thing that's changed is that the game is more dead than it was in 2013, and the game was very dead back then.
