IF i was the Murderer why would I be trying to kill a fellow bad guy???? Everyone was fine with no lynching then you wanted to first which shows you want someone to die ASAP which makes me think you are a bad guy and since I actual know that you are KJD it makes me saying we should lynch you so much easier. I would never think that you would vote to lynch yourself but others should vote to lynch you.
But like you said its up to others. ^ This right here. It shows that General may be the Maid. If he/she is, (because of the maid) then the KJD is found, and if General dies tonight and is the maid, then ronelm is the KJD, if not, who knows? Or General is really that much of a noob at the game, hinting he is the KJD, or something like that, and then this game will be finished very soon. This is all up to speculation though, only day one.
