Yeah, I am totally the hardliner here... One of us has to be
I dont disagree that they need to play, and they know that I know that they shouldn't go for the win even if they want to. Hanging out, observing, applying and testing is all part of the process though, and some things simply cannot be applied on a testing server. This is a given.
Tom does not have administrative rights in-game here on main BD, so there is no conflict of interest. His administrative powers are forum-exclusive here, so he is as any other moderator is free to play as he wishes. I've no problem with that. Knowing what I know, his morality alone is outspoken.

I have my trust on admins, and I believe they won't abuse their power.

Rest assured that no admin plays on any server in which they also have administrative rights. I will not stand for conflict of interest, or foul play by even admins.
They will gain no undue advantage on my watch. That is exactly the point, the doubt it creates. I have nothing against them playing the game, I am just talking about the championship where a lot of players are spending serious money, and I believe that they are fair players (they wouldnt be admins if they were cheaters, right?) but, as you said, it raises the question.

Administrators have no power on servers that aren't theirs, much like the police in a different country. They can do absolutely nothing other then perhaps talk to the other admins. But alas, I have any admin whos server I play on added on skype, some players even met administrators or developers in real life. So I don't see the advantage, in that.

Only in special cases do the admins play publicly. So this is not much of a problem.

Yummy dear, Admins play whatever servers they choose to play, as long as they don't have admin rights on them. As long as they see the same map as everyone, they have no advantage. Noone asked Seth if other admins can play CE. And noone should. They each do what they like and that's that. And please learn English...pretty pls. I mean you confuse me so much with your sentences that start nowhere and finish in the same place that I had to read your post three times. And take 3 Tylenols. I can only imagine how desperate Sage must be if they recruited you lol. Yang, let's kick more Sage ass. Let's see if Seth or anyone will have something to say about it. I bet you their livelihood they won't.

Seth is my admin account. It has all been a ruse.
As long as they have no advantage. i.e. admin privileges on that server it's irrelevant IMO.
