Yes, VND did win the era probably, but that wont stop some alliances like DR from having fun. Look at how they will win though and it is not by skill because they included all their "friends" to help them. They did not get their hands dirty at all and thats what makes it sad.
As a member of DR I know what it is like to die and have to rebuild. Its not depressing! You have lost your money once you have put it into a game. IT IS NOT AN INVESTMENT because your getting nothing out of it (profit). You have put it into a virtual game!! USE WHAT YOU GET OUT OF IT! Hell I have put hundreds into this game and I am not afraid to even suicide my squads if needed.

I'm sorry "Legendofthepast" but I'll have to disagree. It is not by skill? I would argue that there isn't a single trick in Battledawn that our team does not know about, and I would argue that we have someone in our team who is actually the most knowledgeable player about BD there is.

But yes, we do have help from friends. As does SAGE, as does GML. Or is it not true that SAGE has FEAR, II, EVIL, DR, SOTF, SUB, WWE and RAWR? It's just the way it is, both sides have a coalition, both sides have friends, both sides do not fight alone. I would have loved to fight alone but for reasons I am discussing in another post, that is simply not possible.

However.. Not getting our hands dirty? That is just not true. We have been on the frontlines all era and we have high killcounts. We do have help for sure, but that does not mean we do not fight as much as possible ourselves. The truth about BD nowadays just is that no matter how much you do yourself, if you are fighting a coalition of 5 alliances there is no way you are going to win (unless they are all complete nitwits ). So yes, we do need our friends. We are blessed to have them on our side, they are great players. But you should not jump from us having allies to us not doing any of the work ourselves.

CBop were not given a golden handshake at the start of the era, so I think it evens out in the end

Heh, I think initially CBop boosted as much as us.. We just kept it up a little longer, no denying that. What killed CBop was that they couldn't find allies to fight with them while we had HU.

Let me make something very clear...noone has ever accused me of being anybody's meathshield. Ever. What TFM did i ordered, knowing full well we would lose. Ions that were done I partly financed, knowing full well it is money lost. And after the battle I was first one to congratulate DR.

So stop all this nonsense and keep fighting like we and DR did. I want to see Sage win one major battle. One. And then let them speak.

DR will be back and so will we...game is on. Fight it where it should be fought.

As Andrei said, we are not meatshields. We were meant to be a "sit and build" alliance, but look at what we've killed. 220 SAGE squads and About 160 DR squads. And I've helped kill a large ammount of CBoP squads early era. I have 25,000 kills on the era, which isn't bad for sitting and building. Congratulations DR on your victory, and see you on the battlefield soon.

Nevertheless fighting a losing battle so that your allies gain an advantage to me personally is one of the main reasons for the deterioration of game play and hence BD. You have nothing to lose........
