i don't think what antonym did was wrong. The only thing he could have done better was attacking you guys earlier. Ignoring the backstabbing part, if platinum is suggesting to take 2nd position rather than fight you guys, i think that's not good. What could have happened is have better activity for one. Who launches 400+squads and logs off.

I agree with that to a point. Sure tony backstabbed, whatever. I don't really care. I think more of what Karl was saying was that it wasn't a very well organized attack. That's just my opinion.

I think what Matt said is true, Platinum was most likely talking about the attack, not about them going to war with us in general.

Although with the number of alliances on their side, a point can be made that SAGE might have waited longer and then organize a bigger attack.

Sure it was a backstab, but they could have done it better.

Karl was not talking about a single attack. He was talking about what Anthony and his goons turned Sage into...a lieing cowardly bunch of booster newbs with no skill and no honour.

Karl and Chryptic quit...they were Sage founders. That says it all. This is not Sage! This is a disgrace to the Sage name and reputation. So all pros either in Sage or in their allies will leave sooner or later too. Because being associated with them is a slap in the face of any BD pro

Those armies were served to VND on a golden plate If a team panics before landing on a locked down OP, I don't think a single player can be blamed for that. Everyone had his share on that mess, everyone on the team could have done more to prevent it from happening. And regarding the "backstab", I think SAGE deserve respect for putting up a fight and not simply leaving the victory to VND. That's why I joined and I hope we'll keep fighting.

It's not that I don't want SAGE to fight, I respect that indeed. It's the fact we had an agreement that our 2 sides would fight at the end of the era, when all relics were in the hands of the both of us. Not suddenly when relics start dropping.

But apparently SAGE thought they would stand a better chance if they backstabbed us before that. I am not sure if I agree, but the choice has been made. No going back anyway, and the war is not going badly for us to be honest.

What alliances are actually going for the win themselves? Sorry, I'm 700 tics and 30 pages behind, but I've been very ill.

Well, it appears to be VND, SAGE, I, GML and CBop that have gone for the win since the start.

And well, I would say the difference is that in a sub, you are ordered around by the main. In a "coalition" you can always decide not to go for a target, you make your own decisions.

Though needless to say we share most diplomatic relations with our allies.
