More so a battle of perseverance. Though, truthfully, PHIT/nubs are significantly larger in number than JAN/NJ. They aren't as powerful as the coalition from the last CE though. They have the numbers of a sub empire, but also have the activity levels of the normal sub empire as well. Just a bunch of inactives sitting around under the protection of someone else (which seems to be 90% of the CE world truthfully...). But regardless, having 30+ inactive players full squad spamming you is still hard to deal with. And using them for jams, ions, nukes, scans, etc. is also a huge resource saver. So I'd have to say resource wise, PHIT/nubs could possibly out last JAN/NJ as they could nearly indefinitely jam/nuke them with all their subs (much like they did to Moo). But, both sides are looking for the stars to align and their perfect moment to pass them. We'll see who's comes first.
KMO rebuilding puts things back into a standstill as they are a wildcard. And JAN/NJ have most likely made enemies of RU and Fall, whom are now in KMO's territory. While Nubs/PHIT have really only made enemies of Moo, whom are mostly inactive
(though, I find it amusing they're still chasing my members in Russia and have yet to kill everything).
But if anyone wants to win this era, they'll have to create a plan on a massive scale to simultaneously put the entire world at war and to the victor goes the rewards. Otherwise, we'll continue having war, with a stalemate after because both sides want to rebuild their strength. Then in the meantime, the last enemy that was defeated rebuilt and are competing again. Rinse, repeat, and spit.
Though, truthfully, I would love to see randoms enter the fray this late in the era and win it all
