Anyone know what the equation is to determine what your oil and metal production will be under various population levels and production upgrades? I think the production upgrades are described, but I've looked on the wiki and in these forums and don't see how population relates to production.

5 workers = 1 metal/tick

8.3 workers = 1 oil/tick

(There is no rounding)

I just divided the amount of res I was getting from workers by my population, don't know if it's correct so wait for some more answers clarifying.

Thanks that helped, you must have a level 5 metal mine, which is 20% efficient. I have a level 4 metal mine and 769 population so 14% of that is 107 which is my production. It is just the population multiplied by the efficiency of your mines or oil well, table is listed here:
