and what is the best unit combo, if anyone cares to share ;)

If you are referring to the 'Battle Simulator', it could be found in-game: either in Statistics>Battle Simulator or in a Battle Report>Battle Simulator.

I normally use vehicles as my main chassis; 1 Armour to 3 Ranged is the usual suggestion for them.

Well 1 armor 3 range is a popular combo but when your attacking people with your alliance it gets a lil more complicated than that. play around with the battle simlator and youll get a good understandnig. ;)
