WHY USE TANKS?
1- they get no bonus
2- you have to wait longer
3- 3inf = 1tank , 3vec = 2tank. with same expenses and damage.

i guess the only reason to creat tanks is to hope for no explosive encounters or possible if they get better with experience (better than inf or vec)

well over the course of a round all of the instances where you took enough damage to kill a vehicle but not a tank start to add up and save you significant amounts in replacing them and now with exp they have a better chance of surviving to get much better

and explosive units are targeted first so they cant do as much damage as the battle drags on

Look through all your battle reports and ask yourself this: How often do people build anti-tanks?

Not that often considering the majority of players use inf and vechs. So most people don't build it until they fight a player that uses tanks so they create a couple and then go back to building concussive and beam.
If your alliance uses tanks and you want to get the element of surprise, then you attack another alliance with a couple squads of inf so they think that's your chassis of choice.

I usually use inf, and I always make sure to have plenty of exp range. If you're fighting experienced players, infantry is usually just the best way to go.

I hate tanks and heavies TBH; I stick with the vech builds because they're a middle ground of sorts. Not too expensive to replace, and not too easy to kill either IMO.

Plus with vechs and inf I tend to create equal nos. of each loadout (not upgrades), or maybe more of one depending on the circumstances, so I'm pretty well stocked with exp.

Tanks are good for a general defense of your colony and for sometimes conquering those colonies with inf as their chassis. Remeber, each chassis and unit type has its own advantages and disadvantages, you just have to learn to make the advantages outshine the disadvantages.

Plus they do have significantly more health against inf, and more firepower than inf (Per unit Basis), so count that as a bonus of sorts.

i suppose tanks do get a bonus against inf because of the exp thing

round1: 6tank , 9vec
round2: 3tank (half lost) , 4 vec(more than half lost). the 1 vec proves that tanks are more durable.

actually they try to make vehicals, tanks, and soldiers as balanced as possible i find that tanks are too expensive but if built right and you have a big enough army of tanks they can be real good

personally i either build vehicles or soldiers they are much cheaper and faster

BD = Rock paper scissors x9

Would only be x8 with no tanks.

Tanks, like damage, have their occasional uses, even if they are largely useless.
