Ok whats wrong with this picture? Why can't i gate to this portal?
My units are standing on a portal owned by my alliance, im attempting to gate to a portal within the maximum range.(which is 24 ticks right?) I have the resources. Why wont it let me gate? the distance meter is white not read, doesen't that mean its within range?

It's a 24 tick range for movement yes, but if it's your alliances gate it would only read 12 ticks, as reinforce movement is half the time. You must gate within the green circle, which is 24 normal movement ticks away.

Ok thanks. I suppose that a network of gates can be made?

It's one of the most important points of the game, making a gate network and maintaining it. Good luck!

It also might be that u tryed to launch from an outpost.It wouldnt work for me when i tried to send my ships to an allied gate from an outpost.

same as jack, you can only travel within the green circle, so you might need a network to make a jump, a few stop point(s)
