If a squad is attacked by ion/firestorm attack health is lowered to 1HP. Does health regenerate over time?

a squad get 1 hp each tick it's stationary, that mean if it's in the air it don't regenerate, but any time it's on a op or on a colony it will regenerate 1 hpp each tick

I would advise you should not go into any wars if your army is on low hp  .
