Okay...I'm going to post multiple scenarios and tell me if the shield will activate or not...

1. You jam all radar outposts and colonies, then attack, ensuring that all radars remain jammed.

2. You attack a colony. Afterf 1 to ? tick (almost until the presumed attack ETA), you decide to jam all radar outposts and colonies.

3. You jam the colony you want to attack then attack.

Would these work?

My reason:
If all radars and colonies are jammed, then you couldn't see the enemy coming, and therefore would not activate the shields...

(i think)

as long as the auto-shield box is checked

this just happened to me and my shield only activated when another player in my alliance was unjammed
the attacking squad was 1 tick away and he had jammed everything of ours
i didn't even know he was there

As long as a hostile is attacking a colony with shield active it will activate on arrival regardless of circumstances. There is no way around a shield unless it's disabled by the user.

That is a tad silly. But any high level alliances has enough radars nearby that jamming them and keeping them jammed would require humongoid amounts of energy. But smaller alliances or single people, I don't see why it couldn't bypass shield.

Well yea alot of suggestion is from old client. Dont we all miss the old days ? Well the radar consept is new but it wouldnt be fear. would be to easy to crush an opponent :)
