Does the production boost stack with the boost you get for giving up newbie protection at the start of a round? Could I use it on tick one, to have +100% production for the first 200 ticks?

Does it add instead, so if I used it on tick one and gave up newb protection, I could have 500 ticks of +50% production? How does that work?
