Okay say I am attacking with a sqaud of Ranged vehicles (explosive), and I am going up against a squad of vehicles or soldiers (whatever type), will my vehicles attack them? Because in the description it says that the explosive effects mechs....

your units will attack them regardless of what they are.... and the description is telling you what it effects the most

To be more precice
Explosive units affect mechs on 100% damage
Affect Vehicles on 25% damage. if damage is 12, then it will count 3 on vehicles
and affects 50% on infantry, if damage 15 then will count as 6

IF i am correct...
