Crystals raise your score and give you a higher resource production. They also make you a target to the more powerful players.

if also you are in alliance 1 crystal=0.25% bonus resource to the member of the alliance

So when you have say 500 in your alliance....
You get something like
100% bonus
Which is quite good isn't it?

no IQ it is just .20 metal/oil per tick rounded up so 1-5 crystals give you one extra metal and oil 6-10 give you 2 etc etc for you entire alliance
