Can someone please explain to me the methodology behind which asteroids block the building of outposts? The areas that are actually blocked don't entirely line up with the graphic blocking, but this is not the same in all areas.

From what I have learned in my time here.....

Is most of the Galaxy maps are new... so there will be spots like that saddly :(

Just find a diff. place for your ops I guess

As said before Galaxy is newer and not done yet. Asteroids are basically the water on earth/mars/fantasy and because Galaxy worlds have different shapes I'm just guessing they are copied/pasted or something while being made so then they dont take forever to make new maps having to move every asteriod to line it up perfectly.Correct me if I'm wrong about this. :mrgreen:

maybe they are concerned about the astroids hurdeling at your OPs if they lose the gravitational pull from the sun :P
