Depends.. I say Range.

a 5:10:15 ratio is my favorite ( all inf. )
5 armor
10 damage
15 range

Use Battle simulator, its helpful

there are a lot of discussions about this

some of us think 9:0:21 or 10:0:20 (with the first number is the armor) is the best.

some prefer to put damage units on (like max)

idk, but I'm using 10:0:20, Imma stick with this for now...

The goal of battle is to win with as few losses as possible , which means you need to win in 1 round , damage will not help you.

It depends what units you want to attack. i like none in particular but before i attack i do a military scan on the target. if it is all mechs i train anti mech units. if it is infantry i train anti infantry units etc etc.

Hope this Helps,

Matmanmax

yes when you are going up against very weak people or teaming up on semi strong yes but when warring with a stronger alliance closer to your power and army damage is the difference maker

personally for inf i use
15:5:10
15 range 5 damage and 10 armour

Thats why in a war you use nukes/spys/lockdowns to catch the enemy out of position and end the battle in one round. Fighting someone of equal strength doesn't mean you should be fighting even battles. TEX learned this the hard way against LIL
