what asap?

step 1) accept that henceforth I am your god

step 2) getting ressource production up asap is essential

step 3) loose the game

step 4) build armor and range units ( ratio depends on preference tends to be 1:2 -> a:r), at this point in time damage units are not recomended

step 5) ????

step 6) do not kamakazie your units, if you are put in a position where it is certain your troops will die (lets say your colony is being attacked) save them to fight another day. You can worry about rebeling in the future when your stronger

step 7) profit

step 8) BD is a team game, get on a good active team, don't need to be top page or composed of vets (though ift never hurts -> view adopt a newb) at your level just find players who are active, you will learn together and the friendships last ages

1st off for getting started get your resource structures all built get some range units and build them at a 7:3 range armour ratio get a lot of ops (taking ofc) and raze them go for as many easy conquers as you can and dont worry to much about crystals they arent worth much
and make sure you use 1 and only 1 unit type for your army
