You can also gradually increase mineral structures which will slowly increase your income each tick.

Someone put this in Newbie Questions, not help desk please Anyways, you can gain more minerals by building up more structures that help increase your production. More workers will also help you increase your mineral production, the more workers, the more work done, the more minerals produced Check it out on the BattleDawn Wiki: StructuresResources

I don't recommend playing the minigames, the amount of resources you get are minuscule and defiantly not worth the time they take to complete. I recomend checking out those two links Dawnice posted and building resorce structures and also check out the Adopt-A-Newb Center where you can find a veteran to help you out.

but in the beginning it's pretty worth it. If u know how to play u can make lots of needed resource.
I made about 800 more metal every time I started.
