What's the deal down there? I thought we couldn't create colonies but now I've seen a few scattered about. If we CAN build down there why aren't there more people?

In the early stages of battledawn you were first allowed to build down there, then they took it off, and then again they put it back in

the problem with Antarctica, is that it is difficult to get your units from there to the rest of the earth, then back if necessary since there are very few locations where you can gate or send units

I can see the problems, but WHY was it allowed back in? Was it deemed that there just wasn't much change with it gone?

And Why don't many people use it? Is it just that there is enough sufficient space in the rest of the world that most people aren't down there or is it something else?

I think that maybe the worlds were getting to crowded which now would not be the case, but that is my assumption. Other then that, you would have to go back in the suggestions thread back to when using Antarctica as a building spot was made. Or someone with a little more background then me could answer that question.

i dunno, but i'd hate to see e3 without the antartica coalition. It's hard to get units from antartica to the rest of earth, but it works both ways. UF/BT are defending antartica very well, and I see it being a nice, defendable hive once you control south america.

Seems kinda silly. I like Antarctica's inclusion. Guess I'll just have to be happy knowing it got back in!
