So I upgraded my outpost to radar and it was jammed from the moment I did the upgrade. How is that possible? Was someone this fast on their feet about jamming me or what? I mean it was jammed as soon as I clicked the upgrade button, in the same tick.

my guess is someone near there who refreshed the client often so he would see it pretty fast

Radars and gates are automatically jammed for 3-6 ticks.

Yes, to prevent an advantage to the 'other' alliance they get 3-6 ticks notice of a radar/gate in the area before it's usable :)

Yeah.
Take note that if you take someone elses gate it will NOT be jammed, but it will hav control ticks, you need to have at least 24 on your enemy's game to gate.

Yeah, if you upgrade an outpost into a radar, or gate, it will be jammed right away.

You will have to wait for it to get unjammed.
