how do you relocate your colony?

first get an outpost, Wait for the right amount of control ticks 24 i think, click on it and hit the down arrow.

you also need 72 control ticks on your colony

you also need a lot of oil, depending on the distance and 50 energy

*Hint* It's not a requirement. BUT, I'd have some units waiting at the OP BEFORE relocating. Since the one's at your colony won't automaticly come with you. You'll have no defence until they get there. This is why many times when ppl relocate in wars it doesn't do much good.

actually u could move 2 squads to ur main base and they come with u when u relocate

Yeah, and that's a good idea and point. But when I think of relocating I think of mid to late round, when there's no conquers left in an area or you're trying to save your skin. In those situations 2 squads even with heavy units wouldn't save you.

But early on absoultely that is a very good way to go.

Spyda is right, in a time of war relocating does little more than postpone your defeat and make it evermore shameful.

Ummm, well not exactly. I've once used relocating as a counter-attack (under the old system) and actually used it to bring down another top 10 alliance.

Basically I recruited dozens of units in my Training base which I had located on the opposite side of my enemies, downgraded it, let them fire all their nukes at my colony, and when the nukes and their units got 2 ticks away... I zipped to my former TB. With 60+ units and the 20 tanks I brought with me with my base. . While they were trying to figure out where I'd gone, I jammed them, walked up to their backdoor and took them out with the help of one other alliance member.

Needless to say this is one of my battle stories that I'm the most proud of.
