01. One tick is the same as one hour! 01b. You can only trade (metal and oil) with colonies that are in the same alliance!!!!
02. You CANNOT conquer a colony that is already conquered by someone else. 02b. However you CAN steal crystals, fight his units and kill workers. 02c. You can't conquere anyone when you are conquered yourself. However you can free yourself by attacking your conquerer.
03. Outposts cost you upkeep (4 food each tick). When you are not that big outposts are no use! Actually, only if you have 350 workers you could and with 500 workers you should build regular OP's. 03b. Outposts with barracks will save upkeep IF you park units on it. Barracks and other OP upgrade features will cost you extra maintenance points.
04. Conquering outposts, on the other hand, is a smart thing to do. After 24 hours you can destroy them (RAZE) and you get 300 metal, 300 oil and 300 food. 04b. Razing outposts will give you an extra 300 food, but it needs exact timing for the best result. For example, if you have 400 food already, get 50 food every tick, and the next threshold for 15 extra men is at 600, it would be unwise to raze your OP. Why, because most of your extra (300) food will be lost. To be exact; you will lose 235 food (the maximum units of food you can take with you, beyond the threshold, is 15).
05. First you build up your farm-upgrade second you build up your metal-upgrades. These are the most impotant ones! We think this is the smartest thing to do but it all depends on how things are going. If you are beeing attacked a lot or if you are able to conquere some colonies... and so on. There are more ways that lead to succes, I guess.
06. Your units will repair themselves if they are parked on your colony. Every unit has health points, you can see them if you click the military tab. They are the little green blocks left of the picture of your unit. If your unit is damaged, every tick the colony will repair one health point. 06b. When units engage in battle and destroy other units, they will gain 1 health point for every unit they destroyed. This means that your units will be able to endure more and will actually gain strength.
07. The UFO is there to touch with your mousepoint (no need to click it, just touch it). You will gain energy by doin that. It's very usefull! The amounth of energy could gain lies between 1 and 10.
08. For relocating your colony, you need: _ enough oil for the trip _ 50 energy _ an outpost that's yours for at least 24 hours _ 72 controlticks on your colony
09. What do the colors in the game mean? (you only see some of these colors when your alliance leader uses them to inform his members)
Lightblue = Friendly, NO UNPROVOKED attacks, if you are provoked, it's always best to inform our leader first! When you need to defend yourself in the form of an attack, only attack the aggressor!
Blue = conquered colonies by your alliance
Blue with a red star = colonies conquered by you.
White = your own OP's and colony
Orange = enemies, be careful which alliance you attack, there are verry strong alliances, don't start a total war without any form of consent.
Green = your fellow alliance members and their OP's
Yellow = neutral colonies or OP's. You are free to attack those at own will
