Does the ion cannon affect only one squad from a group of squads coming at me or all of them?

If I attack a neutral outpost thats just sitting near me (to raze and free up space near my alliance) and the owner is faraway. Would this automatically start a war or it would depend on the owner how he reacts?

on the old client ION CANNON only affects 1 squad.

and about the OP. it depends on the Owner of the OP how he reacts :)

Old client?!?!? I don't know about that but I've started played just weeks ago so maybe I'm on the new client. What about the new one?

Firing an ion cannon on a groop of squads will send ONE RANDOM squads back one tick and damage all units in it down to 1HP ;)

Any other questions feel free to contact me on MSN (not email ;)) - [email protected]

And as for attacking the OP, nothing will happen automatically but the owner might decide to attack you for it. (Btw, I seriously don't recommend that you attack a powerful alliance's OP, they most likely have gates around it so they can quickly attack you. 1# rule in Battle Dawn: Don't annoy powerful players :))

Another Question: When I use an ion cannon is the other person notified in the events window about who used it?

Hmmm.

Another one: There are some colonies that have "BANNED!" written over them, what does that mean?

So they are under no ones control? So they cannot rebel? And whoever has conquered them will retain that colony indefinitely?
