Heres the thing. Dont bother rebelling. Stay conquered till you join a top 12 alliance. Or a sub of a top 5.

Why?

Conquered colonies no longer have to pay tax. As in they dont lose resource production. Their conquerer gets the extra resource. But the conquered colony does not have to pay anything.

If you are conquered, no one will bother you.

And the only downside of being conquered is: You cant use the gate. Or actually, you cant gate TO your colony. But you can still gate out to gate ops or unconquered alliance members.

So...Dont rebel unless you are safe. Or you will just end up losing your army.

Yeah I only realized your taxes didn't actually come out of your resource production yesterday. I always assumed TAXING was bad for you but it's not very detrimental. That's very good.

like playing Axis and Allies. The winner of a country in that game gets the resources it provides and the looser LOOSES those resources so it results in a HUGE swing in points with each victory. I always thought that wasn't a very good system. So I don't play the game much.

There are enough bad things going on when you are conquered, to have your production hurt too.

Anyway, I like your suggestions Teller, but Being conquered hurts one's pride as much as anything else. Sure you might be conquered but if you have enough units hanging about and no crystals it's usually enough of a deterrent to other players, as long as you don't piss someone off.

For example, we're not a top 12 alliance in F4 but I plan to have my entire alliance free and active in the world learning how to fight and such by tick 300. That means we can't be conquered.

we'll simply never get to rank 12 if we let ourselves remain under the heels of others. We have to stand up and fight!!!

Same for single players. It's hard to get accepted into a top 12 alliance while you're conquered. I know.... I've been there

Pride... can kill you sometimes.

In my case, every time because I'll be there to transform your pride into humility.

And from there... expecting deleted conquers again..

Well less pride and more Fighting Spirit. Unless you are an extremely laconic and passive person, there comes a time when you can't stay down any longer. ENOUGH BIDING OF THE TIME! It's D-DAY! STORM THE BEACHES!!!! REVOLT!!!!

And such.... :) I can play passive but I prefer not to.

the patriot

after getting conquered maybe 3 times is when i give up rebelling instead i go for all the top alliances important op to help whichever alliance i favor to win

another reason why getting conquered isnt terrible you can still take all the ops you want lol

I wouldn't bother to do all that just for a damn game.

If only North Koreans would do that to their communist leaders.

Agreed on the second part. As for the first. It's part of who I am. I go DOUBLE RAINBOW ALL THE WAY! on everything I do.
