I've always been against the use of tanks personally I usually stick with vehicles or infantry I had a nice, long conversation about this with Unky, I'm too lazy to seach it up, but anyways, I find tanks nearly useless. I still build explosive of course, to fight that occasional person who uses them

I find a tank army can be very strong and large threat especially now with experiance people have talked about things dieing and then replacing in diffrent chunks in battle, it also goes inf, firepower drops quickly (lots of losses) but in small chunks (low damger per unit) veh, firepower drops average in average chunks tanks, firepower drops slowly in large drunks
this can mean that tanks only start to loose firepower long after inf, veh have started
however the cost and slow build is the cons tanks can be real powerfull and econimical in the LONG RUN but in the short run inf have an advantge for quickly getting built and so on

Damage is all calculated round by round, not unit by unit. The most a tank can benefit from having higher HP is 2 inf or 1 veh for each round it survives. In a major battle, that doesn't count for much at all.

the largest batles I have had, troops wwhere one side did not have a serious advantage (spy, nuke, LARGE outnumber) Tanks survivablity has helped dish out a bit more damage by hurting the opositions firepower faster then it looses its own

But it should hardly matter considering you should have enough armor to protect them in order to kill the tanks. But yes, that is a bit of a disadvantage.

Units don't die one at a time.
If, in a battle, both sides do 100 damage to each other, then the order of the round is as follows:
Round begins Both sides suffer 100 damage worth of losses (these losses all happen at exactly the same time) Round ends
^ The most extra survivability you'll get from a tank is a value of ~1 unit per round. Unit don't die one at a time, they die in bulk, so the only advantage a tank's health has is that there may be surplus damage that is insufficient to kill a tank, but enough to kill a couple of infantry or a vehicle.

By that same science though tanks do more damage a round, so that would be beneficial would it not?
