Well Red, we have to look at how scores were calculated in both clients. Yes, the era your talking about was closer, because alliances with more crystals auto gain rank over those that don't. But in the NC, in terms of score, M1A1 was probably the closest round that I know of.

Note : This round is from years ago, back then the alliance with most relics was at the top, if 2 alliances where tied with relics the alliance with the most crystals would win. If both the 1# and 2# where tied with crystals the one with the most score would win. But that never happened, E4A2 is the closest it ever came to that.


This is the closest I remember too, and didn't NANC only come on top because they took crystals off their subs in the last few ticks?
Shows how close it was imo :s
