A recent colony attack we did got me wondering about how crystals are distributed when multiple armies attack. Everyone knows that it is roughly proportional, but how exactly is a bit puzzling to me.

Here are the screen shots of the BR and some calculations I did. The colony had 23 crystals, and every member attacked told me the amount of crystals received:

Notice how the real crystals achieved are quite off of the share of surviving units for me and John Maynard.

So, I am wondering: What exactly is the code?

The only idea I have that explains the data is:

*Players with highest share of surviving units get crystals allocated first
*Crystal number is rounded UP to the next integer for each player

Is that the real code?

I understand everything except:

Share * Crystal. What does that mean?

And from what I know, the person that sends the most units in the beginning gets the most crystals. I'm not sure though.

Share * Crystal is the share of surviving units times the total amount of crystals in the colony. I could also exchange share of surviving units with share of units sent, but it would not change much, since almost no units died.

Next time you and your friends attack a guy, compare the results. And compare the crystals. See if it's based on surviving units or units sent.

Impossible to figure that out when the crystal distribution code is something weird that we don't know.

Who cares! Much more important is this atrocity of a Battle Report! You are seriously lucky to have survived that. Just be glad your units got out of there alive.

No really. My guess is that with the sheer number of units running amok about the place, your squads got confused and simply couldn't find the crystals they wanted to take home.

I would just like to point out that there is a serious bug with the xtal distribution.

my friend and I attacked a 4 crystal colony. I got 2, my friend got 3. -.-

thats kinda weird but ok lol. its cool to see how the crystals go to other members who help get them.
