I'm pretty sure that's what overhead is for--it keeps you from having too many units. If anything, it is likely that a mega "end of [insert alliance name here]'s reign alliance will form, and overthrow the mega alliance that's dominating. Also, with a huge map it is unlikely that one alliance will be able to dominate.

Anyways, I'm really looking forward to a battle dawn 2... is there anywhere I can find out some more information on it? Will it be 3D? Is there going to be a new battle system? etc.

EDIT: Just found it under suggestions. Nevermind.
