most people use ratios of
9 armor / 21 range for infantry squads
5 / 10 for vehicles
3 / 7 for tanks

and i'm not sure what your last question meant

well, there is the offensive and there is the deffensive ratio. (deffensive is more armor to better protect, offensive is more range to kill more)

deffensive for inf 10 armor 20 range
deffensive for veh 5 armor 10 range
deffensive for tanks 4 armor 6 range

offensive for inf 9 armor 21 range
offensive for veh 4 armor 11 range
offensive for tanks 3 armor 7 range

Alright thanks, appreciate the help.

The guy I'm planning on attacking has an army of about 150-220 Units with 49% Infantry (guessing a lot of range), 35% Calvary, 15% Heavy with 60% slashing, 21% piercing, and 17% Crushing.

That's what I've been doing, taking their unguarded stuff as well and deconstructing or releasing their dragons. Sadly they just sent a 30 ship army at my ally so I had to move my colony back and I'm trying to do damage control now. Sent a few one man armies to do some harm behind their lines.

I love this game :D

Cause I feel as a lowly noob I can have a little impact on the number one alliance in at least doing some hit and runs and being that annoying little bee just like GoonSwarm on Eve. This game would be perfect for GoonSwarm.

I'd recommend mostly, if not all, vehicles (cavalry). They're cheaper than tanks and more durable and pack more of a punch than infantry. They get a 25% damage boost when attacking tanks, which would be useful in some scenarios, as most inexperienced players would usually get what they percieve as the strongest unit, hence mostly heavies in their armies. That's my opinion, I need someone to look it over.

hey hey hey im not a new player and I use Tanks they are cheapest
looka t over head 100 Tanks(Heavys) = 300 inf in terms of health and attack but cause overhead inf cost more

overhead is every 100 workers, not 100 units
so 100 inf would make the over head rise,
and 34 tanks would make the overhead rise.
