I have read the posts on forum about relocation but I'm still confused about my units relocating so here is my question. I have built an outpost clear across the map to upgrade to my new colony after the 24 required ticks. I have a lot of units right now. What is the best way to get those units to the new colony. Will they automatically relocate to the new colony or do I have to build a gate near my old colony to use to relocate my units. I need to know what is easiest way to get units to my new colony. Thanks

Ok first of all, it is 72 Full control ticks in order to be able to relocate

In accordance to your question, your units do not relocate with you to your new desired location and the best way, in my view is to build a path of gates towards the new location where you will relocate to, if you don't have the gate structure as of yet then i suggest to just move all your sqauds to instead move all your squads normally to outposts that you have created as a path to your new colony.

If you do relocate a while away then make sure you already have some units defending the gates, so it doesn't get taken.
Also, you may want to contact the nearest alliance and explain your situation

i would fly them to ops you take ore make an the way if you have not already made a gate route.

im having problems too coz i want to relocate and join a new alliance but its all to far like the rightmost part of russia to alaska how do i move all of my squads there if i relocate

your kind of stuck on that you have to manually move them by attacking op to op

also take note that all your units in your base automatically change places with you

You can't relocate with any units inside your base.

With the new update you may relocate with units in your base.
