I'm confused still about how many aspects of the game work. My question today is about spies. I've heard a spy battle happens if your spy is on a spot where an enemy spy attacks. From what I understand, the spy with the highest infiltration on the target kills the other spy?

What happens with the victorious spy? does his infiltration go down?

Also, if you have spy protection and someone does a spy op on you, what happens? does it reduce your spy protection, and by how much? what if he has more infiltration than you have protection? does his infiltration get reduced?

Finally, is it practical to relocate your castle once in a while just to lose any spy infiltration others may have on your castle?

Thanks in advance for your answers

The spy with the higher infiltration, correct.

Nothing.

It doesn't reduce it. If the spy has more infiltration then the protection then the spy can do anything.

Well, sure you can do that but what I do is but more protection then the world ticks. Example: It's tick 1000 right now. So my protection should be a bit above 1000.

Hope this helps!

Alliance mates have said that they've had tons of spy protection and it wasn't enough. It led me to believe that even a foiled spy attempt at least would lower my protection, making me vulnerable, if they just have enough spies piled on my castle?

Is that true, or does protection not go down, meaning I truly am immune if I just keep up enough protection?

and yet another spy question...

If I spy on an enemy base, and a spy is there from another alliance, will that spy fight mine, even though the base does not belong to the spy?

Spy A owned by me, attacks outpost owned by alliance B, and a spy C from alliance C is on the same square...do spy A and C fight?

hope that is clear :}

Yes they do fight and on an added note I believe that you will automatically lose that fight because they were on it first...

It things like this that I wish we kept some things from the Old BD, but you guys got to wiegh your pros and cons
The new
Pros,
If you have lots of inflitration ticks you can really mess someone up then there protection time. cause your spy doent go awayso you succeed in igniting his oil, you still have tones of energy that you fell like using, you burn his Power plant, and you can still do spy attacks if you wanted or until you ran out of energy.
if your a mass conqueror this new system is good for you cause if a bunch of people have spies in you all it takes is 1 person to kill off ALL of the spies in your colony.
Cons:you can have only one spy at a time
takes 24 ticks to train
have to send him to another area
if the colony you park it at goes into vacation your spy is kinda screwed. (unless that bug has been fixed)

Now for the Old
pros-you can have as many spies as you want.
-you dont have to send your spy half way around the world if your conquere is on the other side.
-keeps your conquerer on his/hers toes
-your spy doesnt die just because someone else has a spy
Cons-
Mass conquerors needs to keep using energy on things like spy protection.
- not as many options for the spy to carry out (though that could've been fixed)
- once you use the spy its gone

I perfer the old way of the spies cause it kinda helps the less fortunate out The new way is kinda nerfed. in that aspect.
