Yeup! One of my clanmate uses a really good Energy Mech. The weapons are obtainable in the normal box. Most of his modules are mythical but the strategy really works.

I tried it too , it was fun for 1-2 days , but not very addictive like other popular MMO's.

Btw Hitmo, there are 3 types of mechs in the game.
Which are.....

Electric/energy- Drains your opponent's energy. Drain your opponent's energy to 0, you will get additional damage. I will explain.. Your opponent's energy is 0 right? You have a call of lighting, which drains 50 amounts of energy. Its damage stats is, 69-99+50! So you will deal 110+ and an energy drone, -21 energy. You can figure it out, trust me! It's easy!
Explosive/Heat-Overheats your opponents causing him to use one of his action points for shutting down/ cooling down. Or if you overheated him for good, he will cause to use all of his action points too cool down.
Physical- Has high amount of damage, no energy requirement for most of physical weapons.. (Grenade is only the physical weapon that uses energy.. I think) But best choice of physical is the weapons that require bullets.

Thats good Luck Xzycon! XD anyways, use a hook with 2-6 range! Use a Burning Harpoon Mark 3. That's probably most top players will suggest for a "NON-MYTHICAL" hook. Nice, you don't face bestplayer or Dewah? Pfff

The servers give me punishment! I've had to face bestplayer, then after him, I GOT j^8! One very very very annoying moment, is... I had to face 4 top clan members, at a streak!
First- *The Evil*

Third- GLADIATOR
Then.. crash

That's what I remember atleast..

I will fully admit, I thought the same at first. I was playing through just trying to get the basics figured out. Once you figure out the basics, it seems boring for a while, especially during the campaign. When you build up a decent enough mech though and go to Vs. mode, it becomes much more fun. You'll most likely start (if you're smart about your build) wrecking through the other players at the beginning. Then you'll hit a huge wall once you get to the point where players focus highly on the builds that Bluz described instead of just doing random mixed weapons with high dmg output (kinda like the equivalent of using mix chassis in your army).

Once you get to the higher levels, you realize a lot more strategy is involved than you originally thought and it becomes a much more fun game. But, until you're forced to deal with these situations, it can be a bit bland. At first, I simply put the strongest weapons I had on my mech and plowed all the way to ladder rank 4 without much trouble. Next thing you know, I'm losing near every match I play because the players up there build smart.
