Awhile back this was suggested by socialmisfit1 (Bazzy Boo), but it didn't get too much attention, so here's a more in depth explanation of the idea.
Campaign Speed ModeIt's been noticed by a few players that when you're in the campaign, when you use both of your action points and click to view another tab (doesn't matter what site, just that it's a separate browser/window), the animations of the SuperMechs campaign will stop entirely. Upon clicking to view to campaign window again, the animations of the computer players turn will initiate, but sped up to a pretty quick rate (seems to be around x2 to x3 speed).
This effect will most often end after the computer players turn, but I've gotten it to happen during my turn immediately after as well. It's a pretty neat trick to see. The time spent on the separate browser doesn't need to be exact, in fact as long as you're away from the SuperMechs tab for about a minute the effect should kick in once you view it again. Just enough time to search "WarrMachine SuperMechs" into YouTube and hit that subscribe button, if you know what I mean

Anyway, wouldn't it be awesome if we had the option to speed up the computer players turn inside of campaign? Most people willing to attempt to get an item to a decently high fusion level by grinding are turned off by how incredibly long and monotonous grinding can actually be. A significant amount of time is wasting waiting for the animations of items to finish. This mode would actually prolong player engagement because players will more quickly see progress while farming SM coins, and will be able to reap the benefits of grinding faster.
Rebuttals to Possible Counter Arguments1) "It's overpowered. It'll let players grind level 16 items too easily".
This doesn't need to be overpowered, and it really isn't. A x2 animation speed is really all it takes for someone to realize how fun grinding can be. Also, you're still battling and putting in the work. Your mech is still fighting and has the chance of being beaten. This will just take out a large part of the time aspect of playing. This option will let the
average player get a feel for what grinding (and having decently fused items) will be like. When was the last time you saw a rank 1 player (who isn't in a top clan) have an item past level 11 fusion?
2) "Premium Account added on to this will be it unbelievably overpowered".
Ok, this one is actually a good counter argument. But the system can easily be tweaked to slow down the SM farming process. Perhaps make the premium account be at x1.5 SM in campaign when Speed Mode is activated.
Last WordsIn conclusion, a Speed Mode will be beneficial because it will allow everyone (even the people who have limited time and or don't like grinding) to enjoy themselves while playing on the campaign. It can cut out a large portion of time wasted in the campaign waiting for animations to finish, and allow players to see noticeable fusion improvements within a shorter time frame.
